B2B Accounts · DFW & TexasCommercial Collections at DFW Speed
The metroplex doesn’t wait, and neither should your receivables. Freight bills, contractor draws, vendor accounts, staffing invoices, wholesale trade credit — when a Texas business stops paying yours, we put third-party weight behind the balance while the leverage is still wide.
No recovery, no fee — results vary by accountThe DFW receivables map
| Creditor | Typical unpaid balance | The usual story |
|---|---|---|
| Carriers, brokers & 3PLs | Freight charges, detention, storage | Inland-port volume moving faster than the payments behind it |
| Subcontractors & suppliers | Progress billings, materials, retainage | A boom that never stops building — or quite finishing paying |
| Staffing firms | Placements and weekly hours billed | Payroll fronted Friday; the client’s net-60 stretching to never |
| Wholesale & distribution | Trade credit on recurring orders | The account that ordered monthly, then went quiet owing five figures |
| Commercial services | Contracts, maintenance, projects | Work accepted without complaint — invoices without response |
The Texas timing rule
Every commercial claim runs on two clocks. The legal one varies by claim type and is a question for counsel. The practical one is the one that decides outcomes: leverage peaks in the first 90 days and erodes with every month of “checking on it,” because entities dissolve, principals move, and attention drifts. There’s also an honest local truth worth knowing — converting a court judgment into money can be harder here than creditors expect — which is exactly why the strategy front-loads professional pressure before anyone is paying for a courtroom, and prices any legal path with the math shown first.
The working sequence
- Free review and grade. Debtor, amount, age, paper. You get the honest collectability read — “don’t chase this” included when true — and the contingency quote.
- Demands that land. Written and phone contact aimed at ownership and accounts payable, carrying third-party consequence, on documented deadlines.
- Escalation as the file earns it. Skip tracing for vanished principals, negotiated resolutions with teeth, attorney-backed demand and suit recommendations where the balance and the assets justify it — with your authorization at every gate.
- Remittance. Money per agreement, reporting in plain English, and a fee that exists only as a share of what arrived.
Portfolios and aging reports
Batch the drawer once a year at minimum — before write-off season, not after. Tiered grading, per-tier pricing, and the dead tier called dead for free. A stack of small balances that would never justify individual placement performs respectably as a batch, and the report tells you things about your credit policies no consultant will.
Commercial FAQs
Our agreements carry personal guarantees. How much does that help in Texas?
Enormously — and more here than most states. A guarantee keeps the claim alive when the entity folds, and against an individual guarantor, pre-judgment settlement pressure is where Texas gives you the most room. Flag every guarantee in the review; it changes the grade and the sequence.
The debtor operates outside Texas. Still workable?
Yes. You’re the Texas client; the debtor can be anywhere, and accounts route through appropriate channels for the debtor’s jurisdiction, including licensed partners where required.
Why not just sue immediately?
Because in Texas the judgment is often the weakest link, not the finish line. Contingency collections extracts what pre-judgment leverage can reach at no upfront cost; litigation joins the sequence when the claim size, the paper, and the debtor’s reachable assets make it worth the spend — and we’ll show you that math before recommending it.
